Youtube: Storytime! Hotel from F***ing Hell Part 1!

*rolls eyes*

Why can't we just go somewhere and shit happens how it should?

Why is it every time we go ANYWHERE some fucked up shit always happens?!  Just why!

Long story short, we got played hard by Crowne Plaza/City Place (they don't know what the hell they want to be so we're just gonna call them Crowne Place, sounds better).

We had the worst experience ever, an experience from the deepest pits of hell.  Trust, we're gonna talk about it here on the blog, but we want you to see what we have to say in our first segment of this ordeal, trust.....you'll see why we had to make a video before the blog post.

Blogger Insight: Batch Posting in 5 Days-Everything You Need to Know!

batch posting

Batch posting, have you heard of it?

Well you may not have heard of it but I am certain you have attempted it at least once.

Batch posting is when you create multiple posts at one time in an attempt to create content for days, weeks, even months in advance.  I've done it before but fell off once my life started to get a lot busier and after doing a trial and error, I've figured out a way to break down the batch posting process to make it less daunting!

In The Lou: University City Seeks Artists to Aid in Community Project

The Olive Link in University City is preparing for a fresh makeover this summer thanks to a partnership between the City of University City, art professionals, and Olive Boulevard property and business owners.

During the month of May, the City of University City’s Department of Community Development is seeking applications from local artists to create and paint diversity-themed art projects on the Olive Link’s traffic signal and photocell boxes.

The project is part of University City’s commitment to being a welcoming city of diversity and inclusion. The painted boxes will serve as a symbol to celebrate the incredible diversity in St. Louis.

Each art project submission will be judged by a selection committee that will include neighborhood representatives, Olive Boulevard property and business owners, art professionals, and University City staff. Artists whose designs are chosen will then be invited to paint their designs within a three-week period with compensation.

Designs must be submitted by Friday, May 26. The selection committee will choose twelve works of art to be painted on the boxes, and contact artists by the week of June 12.

For more information, visit here or contact University City’s Manager of Economic Development, Jodie Lloyd, at 314.505.8522. Email submissions to jlloyd@uctymo.org

In The Lou: InstaCredit Automart Donates Gift To Jefferson College

Instacredit Automart

Jefferson College receives a generous donation from InstaCredit Automart to help train students in its Automotive Technology Program. InstaCredit Automart, the Midwest leader in Integrated Auto Sales and Finance for over 25 years, donated a 2008 Chrysler Sebring to help students prepare for the current job market of high-tech automotive careers.

The donated vehicle was selected before official processing for InstaCredit’s Arnold, Missouri location – making it an excellent learning opportunity for students. InstaCredit Automart donated the vehicle to Jefferson College’s Automotive Technology Program to provide students with a vehicle to understand current technology for occupations as technicians, service advisors, parts specialists, and managers.

“We help people understand the process of purchasing a car, but we also want to contribute to the process of understanding what’s in it,” says Don Birger, owner and president of InstaCredit Automart. “Jefferson College is a leading facility for workforce training in the region. When we first started talking about this partnership we knew we could help, and we're excited to do so.”

The 2008 Chrysler Sebring will help upgrade Jefferson College’s fleet of training vehicles which will provide the highest possible level of education and skills training certified from the National Automotive Technician's Education Foundation.

Rants & Raves: When Ish Ain't Changed (Our Reaction to #LA92)

It's a shame to feel that in 2017 nothing has change and no progress has been made.

I know you're like "what the hell is she talking about now".

Trust me, my angry rant has a purpose.

This past Saturday we were lucky enough to have attended the press viewing of LA92, a new documentary by National Geographic that takes a raw look into the events leading up to the LA Riots of 1992.
