Jefferson
College receives a generous donation from InstaCredit Automart to help train
students in its Automotive Technology Program. InstaCredit Automart, the Midwest
leader in Integrated Auto Sales and Finance for over 25 years, donated a 2008
Chrysler Sebring to help students prepare for the current job market of
high-tech automotive careers.
The
donated vehicle was selected before official processing for InstaCredit’s
Arnold, Missouri location – making it an excellent learning opportunity for
students. InstaCredit Automart donated the vehicle to Jefferson College’s
Automotive Technology Program to provide students with a vehicle to understand current
technology for occupations as technicians, service advisors, parts specialists,
and managers.
“We
help people understand the process of purchasing a car, but we also want to
contribute to the process of understanding what’s in it,” says Don Birger,
owner and president of InstaCredit Automart. “Jefferson College is a leading
facility for workforce training in the region. When we first started talking
about this partnership we knew we could help, and we're excited to do so.”
The
2008 Chrysler Sebring will help upgrade Jefferson College’s fleet of training
vehicles which will provide the highest possible level of education and skills
training certified from the National Automotive Technician's Education
Foundation.
