The Way To Break The "No White After Labor Day" Rule

     

     Everyone knows what day tomorrow is (dom dom dom!), it's LABOR DAY!  And for many fashionistas it's the dreadful goodbye of many favorite white ensembles until the next year.  Probably the first and most important question that comes to mind is "why can't we wear white after labor day?"  If only the answer was so simple.  There are many "speculations" as to why we only wear white during the summer from the practical reasons of white is more coolor (temperature wise) than any other color to more symbolic reasons of Labor Day marking the traditional end of summer.  Whatever the real reason may be, that does not mean we need to do away with some of our favorite fashion pieces simply because of the "white rule".  So if you are like me and are looking for exceptions around the rule, check out these 14 ways to break the "no white after labor day rule" (courtesy of ELLE Magazine):
