Do you know what today is? It's National Lipstick Day! And to celebrate, we are going to bring you some helpful hints and tricks to help you achieve that lipstick look and do it right!:
- Pair with liquid liner
- Quick and Easy! Try pairing reds and pinks with purples and blue undertones.
- Create a classic look
- Create a classic look by pairing your favorite lipstick with separates that never go out of style.
- Mix bright hues
- By adding a little contrast with your lipstick and your blouse or dress, you are sure to stand out in the crowd!
- Make it your signature!
- I have done this with my hair and even my red glasses, but you can also make your lipstick your signature too! Once you find a color that you are comfortable with, wear it religiously!
- Add a pop of color
- I usually like to use a pink or a bright red when I am wearing a simple outfit or 1 color such as white or black.
- Soft to bold
- Sometimes it's nice to have a natural face, and then take it to the extreme with the lips, such as using a deep berry or burgundy color.
- Complement Retro Style
- You can achieve this look with examples such as pairing a classic navy blue and white polka dot dress with a bright red lipstick.
