I don't ever recall any "epic moments" (besides fashion of course) that happen at fashion week, but this was probably the highlight of everyone's day let alone life. The epic moment I'm referring to is when Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff down the runway as Derek Zoolander (Stiller) and Hansel (Wilson) at the Valentino show which prompted the announcement of Zoolander the Sequel coming out February of 2016 (so geeked!).
If you don't know anything about Zoolander, you're a loser. But to recap, Zoolander is a very successful model at the time who was overshadowed by Hansel for the VH1 male model award. Feeling down on his luck with his friends disappearing and his father disappointed in him, he feels things are turning around once fashion guru Mugatu hires him. But in fact Mugatu has brainwashed Zoolander into killing the Prime Minister of Malaysia (crazy I know!). Long story short Zoolander and his friends have to figure out how to stop this before it's too late.
With the sequel, as the plot details are still vague, it looks like Zoolander and Hansel will be returning to the runway scene after a long absence from the fashion world. It's being thought as Zoolander and Hansel have been forgotten once returning to their former lives and so now it's a must that they have to reinvent themselves. I don't know about you guys, but I am excited for this new film and this was one great surprise for everyone at fashion week!
