So I know a lot of people, as do I, like to keep informed about fashion related events that happen in our city, which hints this post.  Below are details about upcoming events in the STL area that will occur within the next several months:

  • JCPenny Helps St. Louis Kick Off Back to School in Style
    • Join jcpenney and Radio Disney AM 1260 St.Louis at South County Center on 8/17 to kick off back-to-school with a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. Exciting activities include a jcp Make It Yours customization spot where kids can design their new backpacks & sneakers, a gaming station, jcpenney gift card giveaways & more! The Radio Disney Crew will provide interactive entertainment, fun prizes & music from today's biggest artists. The event is a part of jcpenney’s Make it Yours program.

      FRIDAY, Art And Glam

      6:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. Experience the red carpet and bustling ‘Marketplace’.
      8:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Artistic performance by a group that calls Grand Center home…. and announcements. Charity spotlight.
      8:15p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A runway shows thar exhibits designers talents of mixing creativity and glamour.
      9:00p.m. – 9:30p.m. Last minute ‘Marketplace’ shopping.

      SATURDAY, Biker Chic And Awards!
      6:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. Experience the bustling ‘Marketplace’.
      8:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Artistic performance by a group that calls Grand Center home…. and announcements. Charity spotlight.
      8:15p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Celebrate the edgy girl surrounded by motocycles at the Moto Museum.
      The museum is home to dozens of motorcycles collected from around the world.
      9:00 – 9:10 Winners of our Fresh Face Model Contest and our Fashion Stylists Challenge will be announced.
      9:00p.m. – 9:30p.m. Last minute ‘Marketplace’ shopping.

  • The Pink Carpet Event Fashion Show 2013
    • The Actual Event Is October 27, 2013 at the place listed above the time is correct. The date of the event shown here is when ticket sales stop. Which is October 1, 2013 .
      Looking around the world we see that everyone is going through something, whether it be health, finances, jobs and just life in general. With all the burdens that are out there, many people run for themselves alone. This show will not only spread awareness, hope and fashion but love for our fellow man. At this show we will celebrate       life and the fight back spirit we have to end breast cancer. Help us by joining with us, rally with us, fight with us and win with us and Missouri Hospital Breast Healtcare Cancer Center. If we come together as a people in this show we believe that it is just a matter of time before breast cancer is a thing of the past.
      Ra'shaud Henley presents “The Pink Carpet Event Fashion Show 2013.”The purpose of this show is to raise the prestige of fashion in St. Louis, Missouri and spread awareness of breast cancer.
      The show combines the glam of fashion with the spark of hope into making a cure into not a dream but a reality. With high ranked clothing designers, skilled make up artists, hair stylists and photographers. The Pink Carpet Event Fashion Show on September 9, 2011 was one of many projects in South City Saint Louis, Missouri to work the runway for a cure for Breast Cancer Center and we wouldn't have it any other way.This is the show's second event and the team is looking to take it to another platform to showcase hard work and talent.
      This years designer's include: Banana Republic, Haus Designs, T Linelle Houston, Honey's Child Boutique, Ms. Dameka Day and Ms. Day's Boutique. Also bring your business cards because you don't want to miss out on a chance to network with the top movers and shakers of different industries in St. Louis.Registration is required; we will see you there!
