I know you all are familiar with my post I did regarding the controversial article Cosmopolitan posted on beauty trends that were in and the ones that were out. But the disturbing part about this article was all of the beauty trends that were "out" depicted women of color. It made me wonder if there was still a division when it comes to beauty standards, and I believe it very much still is.
I don't know, it just seems like for European women, they can do the minimal and it's praised, but for us women as colored when we put in the greatest effort, it's just deemed as average, what do you guys think?
